About Lois

Lois Potratz was recognized as Top New Agent in 2004 -- her first year in business, and has now reached more than $112 million in career sales volume.  She has been recognized as a Top Producer each year and consistently ranks among the top 2% of brokers nationwide.

Having moved a lot (to three countries, seven states and fifteen cities!), Lois knows how hard it can be, and she knows how to make relocation as seamless and easy as possible.  It’s not just about finding a house; it’s about finding ways to connect the person or family with their new community.  That’s when a house becomes a home.  Home Sellers appreciate how her background as a set designer and artist is beneficial in showing and marketing their home in the best light.

In her real estate career Lois uses her strong work ethic and business skills honed through a diverse professional career that began as a theatrical designer in New York City and later as an agent with Ford Models Inc.  After traveling as a spokesperson for Oil of Olay, working for WWAY-TV3 as a creator, host and producer and raising a family, Lois found her niche in real estate sales and made Wilmington her home in 2001.

Lois speaks French and some Italian, enjoys hosting “Porch Dinners” on her back porch and cooking out on the beach.  She’s mom to two grown daughters, married 28 years and shares her home with a rescue dog named Dammit Hank.  Lois has recently taken up kick boxing – so watch out!

Lois’ passion is her clients.  It’s not about selling…it’s about helping Buyers and Sellers reach their goals.  Lois prefers the term “Transition Specialist!”  Contact Lois for all of your real estate needs.
